The secret to my "success" was taught to me a at a very young age.With my parent's being divorced, I lived with my grandparents for 10 years, and they had a little farm. If I was hungry, I would pick something off the vine in the 1 acre vegetable garden, or go to one of the many fruit trees or berry bushes.Growing up on a farm, also kept me very active and in shape. Now as an adult and stable manager, ranch life still keeps me very active. Between stacking hay and hauling manure carts, I get a good cardio workout 7 days a week.

After being in sports at a very young age, I developed a bad body image of myself, thinking that I should always be thin. As a result, I started starving myself to stay thin (which has now caused health and joint problems). In my earlie 20's I read an article about womens obsession with their weight, and found out that Marlyn Monroe was really a size 12. That article changed my out look on women's weight and shape. Now, although I'm still thin, I am fit and healthy.
