I became a Coach because one of my passions is learning, and then sharing what I’ve learned with others. I am teaching my children about healthy living and making good fitness choices for their lives, and I’d love to help you, too. If you have questions about:
• Workouts (finding one that fits you, proper form, schedules) • Nutrition (what and when to eat for best performance) • Supplementation (the edge that makes the difference) • Workout Equipment (what gear do you need?) • Joining the TEAM BEACHBODY CLUB (WOWY! - Your chance to win prizes and money just for logging in and working out!) • Becoming a TEAM BEACHBODY COACH (Take your fitness journey to the next level by helping people achieve their fitness goals!)
I'd love to be your Coach!
If you would like more information about any of these topics feel free to contact me at:

I WILL help you achieve your fitness goals!

At age 7, I saw the ballet "Swan Lake" and fell in love - with the costumes, with the theater, and with the amazing muscles I could see. I started taking ballet classes through the community college in our town in Wyoming, and continued with classes there and just over the border in Nebraska until I was 17. At age 11, I started on a paper delivery route. Deliveries were 3 times a week, and I walked them to my customers. I "donated" my paper routes to my dad after I graduated high school at 18. Somewhere in between starting ballet and starting the paper route, I took a couple of years of Tae Kwon Do. In college, I took dance classes, a water aerobics class, and walked or ran the mile between classes (opposite ends of campus) at least twice a day. I graduated with my BFA in technical theatre, with two boys - a 3 year old and a 6 month old. We moved to Seattle, and I became a stay-at-home mom for a few years. During that time, I rather neglected my own fitness - aside from running around after two little ones. After my daughter was born in 2002, I started working part time, and commuting via bus and foot got me more active again. I also got my motorcycle endorsement not long after and discovered a whole new set of muscles that hadn't been used in awhile! I figured out that I was not happy living with an unsupportive and depressed spouse, and when counseling didn't work out well, asked for a separation, which ended in divorce. A couple of months into the separation, I learned that I have PTSD, and have been working on that since. A few years ago, I started the P90X program with my boyfriend, and fell off track after only doing it for three weeks. After the divorce was finalized, I started training with my kids at Quantum Martial Arts in Seattle, and currently have my high yellow belt. I eloped with my love at our dojo in October of '08. He, too, has PTSD, and it's a daily learning experience for both of us. My struggles with learning about my own mental health are ongoing, and I signed up as a coach because I passionately believe that being fit is an integral part of being healthy in both body and mind. I have seen the results of both exercising and not exercising in myself, and I want to help others in their quest for balance, too...and I think I have some insights to bring to the process simply because of my own experiences. I'm slowly but surely getting back into the dojo after being away from it for about 6 months during the summer/fall of 2009. During the time away, I began the Yoga Booty Ballet program, and only made it a month into it. I have successfully restarted YBB with my husband, as we've decided to start going through all of the programs Beachbody has to offer. I will take more photos at the end of the YBB program...and perhaps in the middle...as I am recommiting to finding balance. After injuring myself at our dojo (sparring class, of course!), I did not finish the YBB program. Rather than try to restart it - or pick back up in the middle - I opted to start Turbo Jam and have enjoyed the first two days of it immensely. I am now off to take some measurements and see if I can't get a picture or two, too.
