Originally from Palm Springs, CA, Ive been living in Vegas for the past 10 years. I am currently a cast member and dancing in "Show in the Sky" at the Rio. I spend alot of my spare time at the gym.... health and fitness as well as the over-all well being of the human body is very high on my list of priorities.
My personal fitness journey started about 6 years ago when I decided to buy a gym membership. I started off with my own version of working out by running and doing a million crunches everyday, I was obsessed with getting a 6 pack! But one day after doing my usual workout, I saw a beautiful man working out with a buddy at the gym. Dont ask why I decided to go up and introduce myself to him... but at that moment I couldn't help myself, I had to meet him! Long story short, drenched in sweat with no make-up on and wearing stinky gym clothes, I ended up getting his number that day, and almost 5 years later Im still with that man from the gym!
After our first 6 months together, he introduced me to free weights, having priviously been a personal trainer himself he saw that I wasn't "working out" I just just running! Like any normal person who doesn't know a thing about weights, or what the heck I was doig with them, I was definitely embarassed at first. After a few months he set me free, and I was comfortable enough to weight train on my own. In a nutshell I was more than hooked, and I became addicted to the gym! I wanted to learn more and see more and even better results. After learning about the importance of nutrition paired with a good training program I decided to compete in my first fitness competition last year. After that experience, Ive now began a series of another addictive program as I plan on competing in 2 competitions by the end of this year!
I am so excited about everything I have learned from the world of fitness that I am jumping out of my skin to share it with other people who want to change their lives, just as my own fitness jouney has changed mine!
I am also a student at UNLV majoring in Counseling, studying to be a drug, alcohol, and addictions therapist...why? It's a long story over my favorite skinny latte at starbucks =)
I follow a clean diet, and try really hard to stay away from processed foods... and yes I definitely have my share of cheat days and tempatation is never easy to conquer. Clean eating changed my life almost 2 years ago, being a student with a full time job its always easy to eat fast food, its convenient right? But I've come to realize the importance of packing my food for the day, my cooler has become my 2nd purse, and knowing that fast food is not an option for me always puts me one day closer to reaching my goals. No change in life is easy, I strive to follow my new lifestyle everyday. I'm always here to help no matter what your goal is, Ill do more than just help you reach that goal!
For those who take the time to get to know me, know I have a big heart, enjoy making people laugh, and the motivation to care for and help others in any way I possibly can. I look forward to catching up with old friends as well as meeting and netwoking with new ones.

03/08/10 I decided that being a student and juggling a full-time job as an entertainer made it hard for me to blogg daily about my Insanity experiences, so I decided that it was ok to fill More ... 02/05/10 So Im on Insanity day 5 as of today, I had to double up with cardio recovery and pure cardio to catch up on my 60 day challenge.
