In August 1997, I left the hospital with a new baby boy and 35 extra pounds! Over the next year, I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight and all was well -- or so I thought. I've finished my first round of Power90, and I'm trying out several programs, looking for my next challenge. I've reached my short-term goal of having more energy, and I've made good progress toward my long-term goal. But just as rewarding as those personal accomplishments are the help I've been able to give others by introducing them to Team Beachbody and the Million Dollar Body game. It is an awesome feeling!

My coach/husband, KevinP, has been great! Although we've been married 20 years, this is the first time that Kevin and I have ever worked TOGETHER toward the goal of better health. We're both working hard, but at the same time, there is a lot of laughter in house when we work out together! I'm sure we'll be "pushing play" together for a long time. ;)

UPDATE July 2008:
For the last month, I have been working out with the Power Half Hour series and I LOVE it! The program is similar to P90X because you target a different area of the body each day, but the workouts take only 30 minutes. I'm really enjoying the variety!

As for my long-term goal of losing 35 pounds, I am a "work in progress"! I've lost 10 pounds by working out, but I haven't really been serious about cleaning up my diet. Now that I've become an Emerald coach, it's time to start walking the walk! I would love to have you join me on this journey. ;o)
