Hello fellow P90Xers!
My name is Sean Casinger and I am 28 years old, living in sunny San Diego, CA. I have never been a particularly gifted athlete. I'm the one who they always say, "Well, he's got a lot of heart!" about. That's the sports equivalent of "He has a sparkling personality!" All the same, I recently decided, with the support of my wife, to enlist in the United States Army. When I first went to see a recruiter, I weighed in at 258 lbs, well over my max weight. However, with a lot of effort and support, I have been able to lose sufficient weight to complete my enlistment process. Now comes the next step...preparing for Basic Training.
I had been working extremely hard for months to drop weight and get in shape when I suddenly felt like I had hit a wall. I made it to the best shape in my life, but couldn't seem to make it over the hurdle to the next level.
That's when I saw P90X advertised on TV. I immediately felt drawn to the intensity and challenge and decided that if anything would get me ready for the hard road of Basic, this would do it. I am taking Tony up on his challenge! I am going to bring it, and transform myself. I am going into the military almost 10 years older than most recruits, but I intend to be the best. Day 90 will be 7 days before I ship out. Let's do it!
