With all this closure now behind me, I am ready for the next chapter in my life here in the Sarasota, Florida.
I have had my issues with weight and energy since 2003 when I found out I had hypothyroidism (under active thyroid). My TSH level was off the charts, which meant I was a walking zombie. A change in diet and the right medication has helped, though it wasn't enough to make me feel "right". I always felt like I could muster more energy out of myself somehow and traditional workouts were not quite enough. They, my brother suggested I try P90X as an outlet for me, and I was looking for a more effective workout than going to the gym -- well, I found it! It's a great feeling to be jumping, hopping, lifting, punching, kicking, screaming, and just plain moving constantly that has me moving to the next level with more energy. I have recently added Shakeology to my diet and I am already seeing an improvement in my stamina and energy levels through the workouts (especially Plyometrics X where you REALLY need to Bring It!). Throw in an even healthier diet, the wonderful recovery drink, whey protein and protein bars, and I am starting to see changes in my overall energy levels and physical appearance that I have never seen before. This is what motivates me each day to keep pushing play, keep bringing it, and keep doing it over and over...
Hopefully through Beachbody.com I can find some tips from other Beachbody members to help improve my workout and diet, and maybe I will be able to help others as well along the way.

Being in my mid 30s, desk jobs most of my working career and now going through a divorce and living through the local Florida economy, I was in need of finding a way of increasing my energy levels and decreasing my stress levels at the same time. My brother suggested P90X as he was doing this with his wife at the time. I started July 26th and have been aiming for 4-5 workout days per week in the midst of all the other challenges I am facing right now. I have to say that I am extremely happy with P90X and how it has helped increase my energy levels, strength and flexibility just after 30 days of using it! I know I have only scratched the surface, so I can't wait to see what I can achieve over the next 30, 60, 90, 120+ days!
