I am a Firefighter. I have realized that my job, more or less, can be the most physically demanding career out there. I realize now that i am not in the best shape for my daily tasks and need to become the best i can be.
I thoroughly enjoy what I do and who I am involved with.
Those activities are across a broad spectrum of sports. Motorcycles, Snowmobiles, skiing, Snowboaring, Rock I am a Firefighter. After having a series of ups in down in life, i came to realize how important it is to focus on my self. It originally started about three years ago. But over time i had lost touch of beachbody and my fitness. I went to Paramedic school and later, began a new job for a local ambulance company in denver while maintaining my firefighter status. On April 1, 2011 i was lifting a rather large patient and sustained a large right sided intercostal muscle tear. I went to the hospital for care. While at the hospital, I had to hop on the scales. This was the first time my weight scared me. I weight a larger than life 251LBS. I made myself a promise to lose the weight i had packed on through paramedic school. I began using weight loss products, started insanity and began a healthy lifestyle. in the first 8 months, I lost a total of 41LBS. meanwhile, I had encouraged my brother to follow a similar path of weight loss and he has shed off 70+lbs. We both continue our quest for a healthier lifestyle. My overall goals have changed from losing weight to overall total body conditioning. Thank beach body! I also want to extend a thanks to my new coach, Paula Soto. She has been encouraging me throughout the progress.
