I'm a father of a great little boy, former (and future at some point) business owner and I'm still figuring out the things in life that need priority other than my family and in what order and length I suppose. I guess you could say I'm learning daily. I made a conscious decision to change my life for myself when I started noticing how bad my health was after I lost everything and went through the worst year of my life through 2006-2007. I'm 6'4" and I went up to 255 at my worst point and was dealing with severe depression. I'd known about P90X since it's inception, just never wanted to commit to it, just everything fell into place and this is when I needed to do it for the right reasons. I'm changing my life, turning things around and giving myself purpose and breathing new life into myself, and this is the vehicle I'm using to do it. I'm looking for support for probably one of the most difficult times of my life to keep pressing play for the next year, and maybe if I can manage that, I'll have a great story to inspire someone else like me after I'm done.

I wasn't sure after being out of a daily routine for 9 years if I could do p90x, but I'm going for it, the first week was rough, very rough. I couldn't even walk with straight legs after legs and back, and after kenpoX, forget it, I couldn't hardly stand without pain (the good kind that say "look how out of shape you are bonehead!! you almost forgot what this felt like to push yourself and conquer it didn't you??"). Needless to say, day 7 was neither rest nor stretch but...lie down and hope to be able to move enough to go to work. This past week has been better, I picked up a recovery drink and all supplements from GNC (I know I know...I'm ordering the p90x goodies I just didn't want to wait after seeing how banged up I was) and that helped out this week SO much. 1st week I couldn't get into the 2nd half of plyo, this past week I finished strong, so I'm adjusting. I'm telling everyone I know that I'm doing this, the more people who know, the more people will be asking how it's going and forcing accountability. I'm on the diet at 100% and don't plan on deviating in any way from it, this is my life changer, I'm not cheating myself, no way.
