I am 52 years young and married to my very best friend, Ken. I am the mother of three wonderful grown children and grandmother to nine beautiful grandbabies. Not only am I a Coach for this wonderful company, I am also a Seamstress/Tailor, and currently a student at IWU. I do a little skincare consulting on the side as well.

My little bother, David, aka Crossbearer convinced me to share my story of
how the Lord blessed me to lose 90lbs. My initial journey started February
26th of 2005 at 260lbs. and wearing a dress size 26. Unhealthy and unhappy
with myself, I was convinced that at my age I was too far gone, so why even
think about losing weight. Why even bother? I’m married to a wonderful man.
If my weight was a problem, he never let on about it. My mind-set was: "If he
doesn't mind...then it don’t matter!" My wake-up call was the death of a first
cousin at the young age of 47. She had been overweight for some time. Her
mother, my aunt passed away at the age of 55. Both died from of the same
cause…Congestive Heart Failure. I did not want to go out like that. It was at
that time I made up my mind to do something about my weight and fitness
level. I started with products other then what I’m using now, but that’s beside
the point. The point is, I made up my mind to do something about it. With the
help of the Lord, I did it. I worked hard for over a year eating better and
exercising and lost 90lbs! In the latter part of 2006 I got comfortable with
myself, I lost my mind for a minute and went on a Fast Food Frenzy. My
workouts became further and further apart and I gained some of the 90lbs
back! Oh No! With Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease and Circulatory
issues running loose in our family, I became concerned when I was waking up
in the middle of the night with pain in both arms because they had fallen
asleep. Mom being a RN checked my blood sugar. I was relieve to discover
that my sugar was excellent! Praise God! Not wanting to take my health for
granted…I jumped back on the wagon traveling the road to health and
fitness. So, here I am today with a New Goal to not only lose the pounds I gained, plus
15lbs. for good measure, but to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I had HHA for over a year and never thought about WOWY. David, told me more about and it. I love the fact you can meet people just as yourself, not perfect, but striving to make it to a better you while reaching your weight loss and fitness goals. After checking it out for myself I was very impressed and I decided to become a Coach to help others reach whatever goals they wanted to set for themselves.
