I'm 25 years old and live in South Florida. I'm married, no kids.. but I do have a black lab (Snuffles) and a cockatiel (Bird). I've been an athlete and have been a sports fan my whole life.. (probably why 2 of my degrees are in Sports Administration!) When I met my husband, I was a healthy 165 pounds... a little bit of a tummy but was still in a size 11. Transformation story

I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2006 so I figured I finally need to do something about it. I started to watch what I eat and definitely eat healthier! No more fatty and sugary snacks, fresh fruit all the way!! I've been exercising 6 days a week with both Turbo Jam and playing tennis. Now this is what I call working out! I hate going to the gym so my new regimen is perfect! I'm trying for about 10 pounds a month, so hopefully by my birthday (September 13) I will have reached my goal! Wish me luck!!!

February 2007: From 228 to 211 (17 pounds!)

March 2007: From 211 to 194 (17 pounds!)

April 2007: As of the morning of April 10th, from 194 to 186 (8 pounds!)
