I'm 53 years old and have fought my weight battle all my life. I went on my first diet when I was 9 years old and lost 30 pounds. That was euphoric to me.
After that, I would gain a few, and crash diet to lose the weight. I never realized the harm I was doing to my body.

When I was 21, although my weight wasn't bad...120 lbs, I felt like a whale. Twiggy was my role model. I went to a doctor who prescribed major diet pills...amphetamins, and lost down to 85 pounds over the next 6 months. I thought I looked fabulous. I didn't think I could ever be too skinny.
Now that I've passed 40, I find weight is nearly impossible to lose. I want to change my body, but more importantly, I want to change my attitude about my weight, and not have that be the constant focus of my life. I had gained up to 171 pounds over the last year, and on my 5'1" body, that's way too much.
I had lost down to 150 until the Christmas holidays, and now, I'm back up to 155. I want this weight off permanantly.
I found Turbo Jam about a month ago, and positively love the workout...that's a first for me. I have been doing the workouts nearly every day, and plan to join the body makeover contest. With a little help, I plan to be wearing a size 4 by next summer.
I feel this program can change my life, and I am going to stick with it. It really helps to have others fighting right along beside me, and inspiring me every day.
I want to be healthy and vibrant well into my 80's, God willing. I believe this program is the hope I've been searching for.
Thanks Chalene!
