I am 49 years old and I am have been happily married for 27 years and I have 2 kids one son and one Daughter. Son is 26 and is stationed in the Army in Texas and Daughter is 22 living in Oregon. We are going to have our first Grandbaby April 25th so we are very excited about that.

On June 10th 2006 I was watching the Infomercials for Turbo Jam and I noticed they were on quite often so I decided to start working out with just the infomercial and as of June 10th 2006 I weighed in More ...
On June 10th 2006 I was watching the Infomercials for Turbo Jam and I noticed they were on quite often so I decided to start working out with just the infomercial and as of June 10th 2006 I weighed in at 292 and on July 1st 2006 I weighed in at 282. I could not believe it so I started doing my measurements weekly and as of today I have lost 47.5 pounds and 32 inches. I have went from a size 20/22 to a size 14 pants and everybody I see wants to know what I am doing. I have had so many people e-mail me and tell me that I am their inspiration to keep going and I felt they were my inspiration because to see so many people out there working together to help each other and support and encourage one another is absolutely wonderful. I love to log on and see the same people out there so dedicated to their workouts and the ones that aren't so dedicated they watch you and notice how Important this is in your life and it makes them want to make some changes in theirs.
Recently in the past few months I started lifting weights and I went from 3-5 pound weights and that is how I lost 3.5 inches in my arms.
I truely love people and enjoy so much receiving e-mails from each of them. I am going to Hawaii the end of the month and I have been trying to lose more weight and inches but I am fighting against the pre-menopause and that is not fun at all, but I will not give in to that. I will continue to do my workouts with Chalene Johnson in Turbo Jam and I recently have started Power Half Hour and Kathy Smith Project for you. A friend just let me borrow Billy Blanks Bootcamp and that is a fun workout and I needed something different to recharge my body because I have started to slow down losing inches now. I also walk everyday between 8-15 miles a day using a pedometer and somtimes I walk the treadmill when I can. I have basically told myself I can have anything I want just limit the proportions. I drink anywhere from 80-120 oz of water a day and I try to eat 5 small meals a day and I try not to eat before bedtime.
I have no health issues at this time but I just want it off for me and I am hoping that through my example it will help my husband decide to get his weight off.
I do not really have a specific time I want to reach my goal of 185 because this is a lifetime committment for me. I love eating this way now and I watch calories in everything I eat. Even when I go out to eat I ask them about calories in the food and they look at me so funny.
I love Turbo Jam and I enjoy seeing Chalene because she is so wonderful and fool of life and looks great. I want to look that good.
