Tarzana, CA I have been in the fitness industry since the mid-90s as a nationally certified fitness instructor with the Aerobic Fitness Association of America (AFAA). I am trained and certified in kickboxing, yoga, pilates, group cycling, and as a personal trainer. I teach a variety of group fitness classes: Turbo Kick, PiYo, strength and conditioning, cycling, yoga, pilates and bootcamp.

I received my BS in exercise science from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington and worked for a major health club chain as a Group Fitness Coordinator and personal trainer. Eager to educate myself further, I decided to move to California to pursue a post graduate degree in kinesiology from California State University, Northridge. After receiving my masters, I became an AFAA Specialist and currently certify instructors across the country in the AFAA Primary Group Exercise and kickboxing programs. My love of Turbo Kick (or Turbo Jam)led me to become an Area Promotions Director in the Los Angeles and Fresno area for Chalene Johnson's company, Powder Blue Productions certifying instructors in Turbo Kick.
Important aspects in my life that keep me motivated and grounded are: my faith, family, and commitment to fitness, maintaining a positive attitude and having a willingness to always learn. Other Interesting Facts about me: I'm an Air Force veteran, a former Seattle Seahawk Professional Cheerleader and a video cast member of the Turbo Jam and Turbo Fire fitness video DVDs.
I truly look forward to doing all I can to help you be successful in obtainging your fitness goals and more than willing to guide you in a pursuit of a fitness career!! Until we meet!
