Losing weight has always been a tough task for me. I have been overweight since high school playing the yo-yo diets with my weight and fitness. I found like most of us that when it comes to weight loss, we do good for a while and then go back to our old ways; the weight comes back on faster than we just lost it. Ugh!!!

So, in 2002, I saw an infomercial for Power 90 and bought the program. Not knowing if I could actually lose weight while working at home; I embarked on the journey and lost 48 lbs in 90 days! However, I suffered a skiing injury and couldn't do much working out for a while.

At the time, I was in Law School and also lost my dad to cancer. I hadn't been very overweight in my life until the stress of Law School. As with many of us we use food as a source for comfort and I ended up gaining all the weight back and a lot more.

Fast-forward to 2009, still very overweight at 318 lbs I just had to do something about it. Doing the gym thing was simply not working. One night I was watching TV and saw an infomercial for P90X. Again, I said can I lose weight on a home-based workout program. Why not give it a try I thought since I lost weight with the Power 90 program. So, I started P90X, didn't quite have the nutrition program dialed in but still lost 20 lbs in the process. Although this program was difficult to do, I pushed through.

After P90X I wanted to up the cardio and decided to take on Insanity. I went through two 60 day rounds of Insanity and lost another 20 lbs. It is early 2010 and now the decision as to what workout program to do next. P90X was my choice; however, this time I really kicked in the nutrition part of my transformation and I lost 47 lbs in 90 days.

It is now August 2010 and I am down a total of 97 lbs and continue on my transformation journey!

Remember, the thing about losing weight is you cannot give up when you hit that wall or think that because you hit your goal you can now slack off, because you can't. The road to your transformation will be a difficult one, but it is definitely doable as long as you stay focused on your goals and how you have changed in the process.

There will be ups and downs along the journey, and yes I have gone through many ups and downs as I continue my journey. But the journey is so much more rewarding because I know that I am doing this for my health. And in doing so, I want to share my accomplishments with the use of Beachbody and its products with everyone.

I know I have a long way to go on my journey to a fit and better lifestyle.

So, no matter where you are on your journey to a better you, I employ you to join me on this journey and let's go and see where it takes us.

The journey continues!!
