Hello, I am an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan.

I am starting P90x again. I was into week 3, and life got into the way. I kept up with my running, but have hit a plateau. I am down to 233, but I have not hit my goal. Starting weight was 240, and my goal was to hit 220, and go from there. That is a small goal, but one that was attainable. It is the small steps that you start out with, then you turn around and see that you have walked a mile. My goal is 215, and then 200 lbs.

I have always been uncomfortable with the way I have looked when I have had weight on my frame. That is why I have put actual photos of myself on here; not a picture of me in a shirt. I can have actual images of what I am becoming, and where I was at. Everyone I know tell me I didn't look like I was up to 250, and I think I let that help me become lazy.

I do know that P90x works. In the 3 weeks that I was keeping up, I noticed that I lost 6 inches from around my stomach(measured at the belly button.) I also noticed a cut developing in my arm, near the bicep/tricep. I have not had that since I was in the US Navy, and was down to 187. I am a manager of 2 liquor stores, sometimes I have to go between stores. The biggest compliment that I received was a customer asked if I was related to the guy that worked at the other store, and I looked like his little brother. I know that results can be achieved, I just need to work to achieve them.

I am in my second round of P90x. Join me as I attempt to get closer to my goal of 200 lbs and a healthier me.
