Hello, hello, hello! I'm sure you can tell how excited I am that you have taken this first step! Let's get acquainted...
My name is Tiffany Jones and I'm 31 years old, residing in Charlotte, NC. I currently manage my own boutique consulting firm, The Consulting Studio, where we assist individuals, who we refer to as "visionaries", live their passions. I love what I do! Although I have been a Beachbody member for the last two years and lost over 35 lbs, I only just decided to become a Coach. The reason? While I am helping visionaries become wealthy by way of their gifts and talents, I am also committed to their physical wealth. Wellness is a lifestyle and this organization has been instrumental in significantly improving my personal health as well as my financial health.
(If you choose to read on...you can learn a little bit about my personal journey)
In 2006, I became a plus size model. By Spring, I was selected as a contestant for the second season of Oxygen Channel's full-figured beauty pageant, "Mo'Nique's F.A.T. Chance." This was an outstanding experience for me to truly accept my "uniq" beauty: tattoed, short blonde hair, 5'8", and 245 pounds. Having always stood out like a sore thumb, finally it was being celebrated. But there was still a void.
Since age 6, I had danced, weight-trained, tried sports, purchased gym memberships, joined yoga courses at college...simply to find my place in an active lifestyle. Although I had fun picking up and putting down these activities, I could not remain committed. I guess I felt a little invincible as a young person. Yet, my entire geneology was riddled with diabetes, heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure, and chronically unactive family members. But more than anything, I didn't want to die. At 245 lbs and age 30, it was time for me to care for my God-given temple the way I would have cared for my grandmother's so I could have saved her.
In 2007, my best friend, Jay, introduced me to Chalene's Turbo Jam and I was ecstatic! It was so much fun. Unfortunately, I just could not wrap my mind around restructuring my southern-style eating habits or committing to working out...until now.
Being committed to her has caused me to remain committed to my own goals. Like Chalene promised in the 20-minute workout, I am seeing muscles in places I didn't know I had. I stopped overeating, eating before bed, and am gaining more energy everyday.
My only wish is that I can inspire someone else. God has made it possible for me to climb this mountain, not to stand at its peak with hands in the air feeling that I have conquered, but rather to learn its terrain and guide as many people to its peak that I can. My challenges weren't and aren't just for me. My achievments are empty if I am unable to give back and lead YOU to your desired goal.
So let's get fit together! Let's get physically wealthy!
