All of my life I have been fit and active. I swam competitively from the age of 5 until 17, so I never had to worry about my fitness or my nutrition. I ate whatever I wnated and I always stayed at the More ...
All of my life I have been fit and active. I swam competitively from the age of 5 until 17, so I never had to worry about my fitness or my nutrition. I ate whatever I wnated and I always stayed at the same weight. I am 5'9" tall and I am comfortable at a weight of 130-135 pounds. I even did OK in college and also in my 20's.
I turned 30 and got married a month later and 18 months later, we welcomed our first daughter. I bounced right back to my fighting weight! Daughter number 2 came along 2 1/2 years later and once again, I bounced right back. Our 3rd daughter came only 15 months later (wow, what a great surprise!!!!) and that's went it all started to go down hill! I never really lost and stayed at around 145 pounds. Being a busy Mom of 3 I didn't take care of me and it showed. I was in the worse shape of my life and it showed.
No matter what I tried, I couldn't get back to my preferred weight. I exercised, tried every diet i could find and I had some temporary success, but nothing I could keep permanently.
I turned 40 and then added another 10 pounds. I joined Beach body and tried p90 and turbo jam,which were great and did help me slim down some, but I admit I got lazy. I also started graduate school at 40 and there went the exercise programs..... I added another 10 pounds over that 3 year period and here I am today.
I found p90X and Chalean extreme and just love it!!! Nothing else really does it for me. I love the motivation that Tony and Chalean give us and I am seeing results already. I see all of the success stories and it motivated me to do my best. I rely on my own coach Julie (wantahardbod)and her success really pushes me so that I can see much of the same results for me.
This community is truly a blessing and all the information is so great and people are so willing to help that anything is possible.
I will be the next great transformation story (I am already on my way!!!) I've learned not only how to exercise properly but also how to eat properly in order to build muscle and burn fat. On this journey of finding fitness I am regaining self-confidence and self esteem.
I feel that MDB/Beachbody along with my Coach are truly giving me the knowledge and tools to help others change their lives and reach their fitness goals. I have just accepted the challenge to become a Million Dollar Body Fitness Coach and am looking forward to passing on this amazing gift that has been given to me.
