Comstock Park, MI I am a single mother of two teenage sons; one a Senior and one a Freshman. I have worked as a court recorder for 25 years, and have plenty of typing to do at home also.
I come from a family of 7 children; four older brothers, an older sister and a younger sister. I have lots of nieces and nephews, and even a couple greats.
I have been taking blood pressure medicine since I was 18. At one I am a single mother of two teenage sons; one a Senior and one a Freshman. I have worked as a court recorder for 25 years, and have plenty of typing to do at home also.

I have been taking blood pressure medicine since I was 18. At one point in my 40's, my blood pressure was always high, my triglycerides were 1600, my cholesterol was in the 600's. I was diagnosed as being diabetic. In July of 2005, I started injecting insulin as I could never control it with diet. I was taking cholesterol, blood pressure, trygliceride medicine, a full aspirin a day, and it was just getting worse. The doctors always gave me more meds and told me to lose weight and exercise.
I just ate more. I was never full. In the recent years, I was taking more than 150 units of insulin a day by injection. I had bruises all over my stomach and my thighs, as my stomach was so abused that I needed to start injecting the big doses in my legs.
Then in April of 2009, my sister, a couple friends and I went to a Bruce Springsteen show. My sister is related to Bruce's guitarist by marriage and we had passes to meet him. The pictures from that show shocked me, and I had to do something fast.
There was a girl that I worked with that had been going through medical weight loss and her transformation was amazing. I decided I needed to do that and got a referral from my doctor.
I started the program June 24, 2009. I was 214 pounds, out of control. 12 weeks of program food, 4 weeks of transition and a lifetime program to follow. They required exercise, journaling of what I ate and weekly group sessions, bi-weekly blood work and doctor visits.
I started exercising by walking at our high school track, 2-1/2 miles almost every day. Then I got plantar faciitis so bad in my foot, I was told I needed to stop walking until it healed.
I had to capitalize on the program food, and I couldn't stop exercising so I pulled the Turbo Jam that I had purchased a while ago and never used off the shelf. I did the learn and burn and started doing the cardio party almost every day.
My body started transforming almost immediately. I couldn't believe it.
By October 13, 2009, when I "finished" the program, I had lost 53 pounds, 9-1/2 inches off my waist, 7-1/2 inches off of my hips, and I had gone from size 16/18 pants to a size 8. Totally amazing.
My cholesterol was 111, my triglycerides had gone from 901 in June to 79 in October. I am now taking no insulin, zero, it's in my purse, but I don't have to use it. My blood pressure and cholesterol meds are almost gone. Wow. That's all I can say. WOW. I had just simply done what they've been telling me for years, eating right and exercising. And it is amazing.
So, I still do Turbo Jam, Cardio Party 1, 2 and 3, Ab Jam, 3T, weights, and I LOVE it.
My Beachbody coach is Stephanie Hale. We talk almost daily. She's great and very helpful.
My life is different now, and I'm never going back. Every pair of pants, skirts, that are over size 8 are gone. Well, wait, I have two pairs of size 10's but they hang on me and I can't wear them. Buying new clothes and paying for the program have cost a lot, but worth every single dime.
I plan to only exercise more, and everything I eat is nutritious or I don't eat it. I've been educated and shown myself that I can do this.
So the transition continues. I've lost six more pounds in a few weeks. I have people pulling me aside, amazed at the transition. Some have asked if I'm sick, my marathon running friend told me if I lose more weight I'm gonna be behind myself. I spread the word of Turbo Jam to everyone who asks. I believe that I can help people and that my story is pretty amazing. No insulin, that's what is the best, no insulin.

In June I began a medical weight loss program. I was 214 pounds, taking 150+ units of insulin a day, blood pressure, cholesterol, triglyceride medications. I have in the past had cholesterol in the 600's, triglycerides at 1600+, etc. There is bad heart disease history in my family and I was well on the way to being the Queen of heart disease.
I was in sorry shape, always hungry and pretty unhappy. It was time to do something, hence the medical weight loss.
As of today, October 5, 2009, I have lost 48 pounds, I use insulin rarely, I've learned an awful lot about how food works, although I have lots more to learn.
I have gone from size 16/18 pants to 8's.
I work out almost every day to Turbo Jam, Ab Jam and I'm pumping up the workouts. Even though I sometimes am doing the workout at 9:30 at night, I still do them.
My boys are proud of me, the whole world is noticing the difference. I carry myself differently and I'll never go back.
I "finish" the weight loss program on October 13, and they'll take a new picture and a couple new measurements.
My blood levels have changed greatly and my body has transformed.
