I am finally taking the time to sit down & write this. So, here goes.
I have always been VERY skinny for as long as I can remember. I could eat anything that I wanted & never gain any weight. More ...
I am finally taking the time to sit down & write this. So, here goes.
I have always been VERY skinny for as long as I can remember. I could eat anything that I wanted & never gain any weight. When I got married I weighed all of 100 lbs. I got pregnant about a year later & gained 60 lbs!!!! Holy crap that's a lot of weight!! After the first child I lost all of the weight except a few pounds and stayed that way until I got pregnant with child #2. I did not gain as much with this child but had a harder time losing it! Then came surprise #3!! I gained all that weight back topping 160 lbs again :( After child #3 I never lost any of that weight!!! I stayed 160 lbs from Feb. of 2001 until recently. I never really worried about the weight or what I looked like until I started noticing that I was having small bouts of depression. I got to where I did not want to be active with my family or hubby! In 2004 I started trying to watch what I ate & spend more time running around with the kids. I still stayed the same & got disheartened! I sat on my bed one morning after hubby went to work & saw an enformercial for Turbo Jam. I thought it looked pretty cool. I love to dance & thought that these videos would keep me motivated. So on Nov 2005 I ordered the Turbo Jam tapes & LOVED them! I done good for a while & lost some weight. Down to about 145 lbs. Well, life got busy as it always does & exercise got put to the back burner. Needless to say, I gained all the weight back!!!! 160 lbs again. I finally decided again to put the tapes back in & stick to it, this was Nov 2006. I have been faithful with doing my work outs ever since. I have also tried to commit to WOWY but am having trouble with that due to a hectic life style. (Another excuse) I recently started joining the message boards for support! And even done a few challenges, helping me get down to 143 lbs!!!!

Thanks to Challene & her crew, message boards & keeping at it, I have lost to date 17 lbs! I tell all my friends & family about it trying to get them on the train with me! When I go out of town on business or for family matters I take my tapes with me! (That way I can get others to work out with me!)

I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) & since sticking to the program I have been able to eliminate all of my meds for it!!! I have been taking small steps to become a healthier person and loving the results so far! So I will definitely keep pushing play!!! Thanks to all at Beachbody & Challene!
