About 5 years ago I had a bad dirt bike crash and broke my leg.I had a compound fracture of my left tibia and fibula.I also severed two of my arteries and my anterior tibialis muscle.The docs said they would have to amputate my leg but thankfully they didnt.After two months in the hospital and 10 months of rehab I decided to get back in shape.The thing is that I broke my knee cap in half and tore

I started P90X mid January 2009 and I finish April 18,2009.I must say it was a tough journey but I loved it.I've always been athletic but never really liked lifting weights.Lifting weights to me was to much like work and just no fun .I love sports especially boxing so I have always liked those type of workouts.Running ,jumping rope,hitting a bag,etc.So P90X was right up my alley.A few years ago though I had a bad compound fracture to my left leg which left me unsure about my future.I was confined to a bed for 3 months and a wheel chair for 2 more.I lost all my muscle and had withered down to 165 lbs. from 205 lbs.After 10 months of rehab I was walking unassisted so I started lifting weights and hitting my bag for cardio. I became very bored with that routine and was looking for something that I could do to work my entire body.My leg was to weak and fragile to do anything involving weights so I needed to find something that would work my legs but it had to be low impact.Then one night I saw an infomercial for P90X and I thought "Wow that looks like fun". I researched the product and a few months later I ordered P90X from Beachbody and began my 90 day journey.I started P90X at 208 lbs.at 19% body fat and I finished at 200 lbs.at 9.4% body fat. The first week of legs and back was tough.My leg was weak and with only one lat muscle I could only do a total of 69 pull ups.By week 12 both my legs were strong and I did a total of 170 pull ups,WOW!I never thought that with my injuries I would have been able to get the results that I had pictured in my head on day 1.I must say that they actually exceeded my expectations.
