I would like to say that I don't know how I got like this, but unfortunately I do. I am now 33, married and a father of 3. In high school I played soccer, tennis, baseball and was on the swim team.  More ...
I would like to say that I don't know how I got like this, but unfortunately I do. I am now 33, married and a father of 3. In high school I played soccer, tennis, baseball and was on the swim team. It is hard to believe, but I graduated high school at 6'2" and 150 lbs. I then joined the Navy and slowly started to lift weights and pay attention to my physical health. While in the Navy, I got up to 210 lbs, but was lifting weights and exercising 5-6 days a week.

In 2001, I got out of the Navy. Later that year I was in a car wreck that kept me inactive for almost a year. That was the first time that I ballooned to my current weight. After that, I almost completely stopped exercising. My weight fluxuated between 230 and 250.

I tried to get back into shape in the beginning of 2008 and actually got down to 219 in March. But my old habits crept back in and I am now back up to my highest weight ever.

I decided that I DO NOT want to be like this. I only asked for one thing for Christmas this year, P90X. I will be starting that program just after the New Year. It will not be easy. I am a shift worker and don't know how my metabolism will react to the change.

I'm now two weeks from completing my first round of P90X and am in the best shape of my life. I'll soon be starting another round of the X to get down to the 210 pounds I was when I got out of the military. With the support of my wife, kids and my Beachbody family I can do anything!
