Well, to start with I am a 28 year old, and I work full time at a construction company. I have been overweight my entire life. I have tried fad diets with little or no success. But, my heart was never into it. My mom being a nurse, I have always been aware of the complications of obesity. February 12, 2007 - After a little over a month I've lost about a total of 8.25 inches. I haven't seen a lot of weight loss, but I am happy with the loss in inches. I've noticed that I have to keep pulling my pants up :) and that my coat fits better in the sleeves and across the back. Slowly but surely I am making progress. April 28, 2007-
Four months have past since I started my "exercise journey". I've noticed recently that when I climb the stairs at work I am no longer breathless when I reach the top and my knees don't hurt climbing them either. My clothes are fitting better, too! I got my first "Have you lost weight?" comment yesterday, from a co-worker! I want to thank Chalene for TurboJam. She made exercise fun. That has allowed me to branch out and try different exercises, that in the past weren't enjoyable. Another quote that has helped is "Exercise is a journey, not a destination." (I can't remember who said it...)

December 12, 2008-
I'm starting over! I began yesterday... I kept telling myself I'll start when I'm done with school, I'll start when I'm not working evenings, blah, blah, blah. Well, it's time to commit. I've been working out here and there but not regularly. I plan on doing a variety of things and incorporating Turbo Jam, so... here goes!
