Richmond Heights, OH I am a 57 year old grandma who went from brick house (20's) to a two hugger (hug one side, walk around,hug the other side). Becoming a grandmother gave me the drive I needed to change my body and become healthy. I have osteoarthritis, high cholesterol and an autoimmune disorder. Through changing my eating habits (gave up flour and sugar) and Turbo Jam, I was able to lose 45 pounds in 7 I am a 57 year old grandma who went from brick house (20's) to a two hugger (hug one side, walk around,hug the other side). Unfortunately, I experienced a major setback. In November, my mom had a fall, followed by a nursing home stay. During that time, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and I fell into a major funk. Fitness was the last thing on my mind. Until I let my Coach know what's going on. Thank God for her. She convinced me that I need to take at least 20 minutes out of each day for me and she's right. Sad part is a lot of damage was done in the last couple of months. Numbers don't lie and mine are certainly headed in the wrong direction. Hopefully, I'll be able to quickly get back into a routine. I can be of more help to my family if I'm healthy.
