I currently reside in Austin Texas but it is way too hot for me. I am hoping to move back to Colorado where I went to college within the next couple of years. I grew up a multiple sport athlete but always had trouble putting on any weight or muscle mass. I started lifting and being consistent earlier this year and have seen good results. I joined Team BeachBody to see better results and to maintain consistency. I also have started several web companies and a blog. I like to help people and look forward to providing information and support for people in fields such as graphic and website design, PC support, and health and fitness. I have a degree in Graphic Design and I am currently looking to get certified as a personal trainer. Fitness is something I have always been pretty knowledgeable about especially with a mother who is a cook book author that started as a nutrition writer for the Los Angeles Times. With access to her information all of my life and my experience with team sports, I consider myself quite informative about the health and fitness industry. I look forward to passing on that knowledge and helping others get into shape.
Getting in shape can be fun and rewarding. I believe that being healthy will keep you out of doctor's offices and hospitals. As I age, I become more and more health conscious. Team BeachBody is the #1 program I have found for success. The community is rich and supportive. The products are second to none. Let me know if I can help you get in shape. Whether you are a current BeachBody member, coach, or looking to join, I look forward to helping and talking with you.

I have spent most of my life as a small and skinny male. I was a successful lacrosse player in high school because of my speed and agility. I played lacrosse for the University of Denver, but with my small frame and light weight I did not last more than a season playing at NCAA division I level. I have since been very self-conscious of being skinny. I would have preferred being the "big man on campus." Over the years I have lifted weights and worked out very inconsistently. I'd go to the gym every week for six months and then stop, become lazy and continue poor self maintenance. Fast food, cigarettes, soda, coffee/caffeine, alcohol, were all my friends on my decline from physical fitness. When a close friend experienced a heart attack at 32 years of age, although rare I knew it was time to turn my life around. Baby-steps is the best process that I found could help me obtain my goals and stay motivated. Trying to take on more than you can handle usually leads to quitting and failure. I started with caffeine and cigarettes then alcohol. I eventually got myself to a position to get back into shape. I started in May running a couple miles to get my heart some exercise and burn off some of the fat i accumulated while sitting and vegging. In June of 2009 I grabbed a gym membership and started lifting weights. I tried to figure out what i needed to do to gain weight and to finally shed this frail image of myself. I used a formula full of calories, protein, and carbohydrates. I changed my workout to a gainer workout and switched the routine regularly. In July, I went on vacation and slowed down a bit but quickly picked my regiment up once I returned home, with more determination and ambition. After a month or so, i stopped taking protein and carbohydrates and started leaning on a regular healthy diet. I am currently 195lbs, 20 from where I started and I look and feel great. i am approaching the six month mark where I usually throw in the towel.
I joined Beach Body to help stay committed to a healthier me. Without supplements I started feeling more tired before and after working out and would skip meals. Beach Body will help me stay focused, gain access to the supplements and information I need, as well as reach my health and fitness goals. I am looking forward to helping others and seeing results. I hope to gain 5 to 10 more pounds and then begin toning. Go Team Beach Body.
