During my first pregnancy I gained an awful amount of weight, weighing in somewhere around 172 by my ninth month. Even after giving birth to an eight and half pound baby girl, I still had a tremendous amount to lose. I knew it would be harder than ever to get this weight off, trying to find time for myself, now with my new role as a mother would prove to be difficult. A neighbor of mine told me about an all ladies gym that was close and had quite a few classes to pick from, joining a gym is always a little intimidating, but I started going three to four times a week. I started with Yoga, the treadmill, and the weights, but I was missing something, I wanted some cardio, but something that was fun, and entertaining at the same time. I noticed on the gym schedule that there was an aerobic kickboxing class called TurbokickTM, I tried it and fell in love, the time flew by, before I knew it I had already finished an hour class. After about five months, I've dropped the weight with ease, and lost around 27lbs. I haven't been at my current weight since high school! Now fitness isn't just a life change it's a passion, I feel good, look better, and have more confidence than ever before. You too can have a transformation story, you too can feel good, and look even better, and I'm here to help you along the way. We all need support along the way, let me help you in your quest to be better inside and out. If you start with just babysteps, maybe twenty minutes on a treadmill, or a walk around the block, once you start to feel the change on the inside, you won't want to stop.
