I am a homeschooling mom of 4 fabulous kids. Married for 17 years to my incredible husband Bill. I was dxed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis in 2003. At the time I was told that weight gain was expected. Lack of energy was normal. Hormonal mood swings were going to be a daily thing. And my hair was going to fall out. I didn't like those options so I started researching. I discovered what a difference a good diet made in how my body felt. I learned about exercise and the role it played. I discovered that even though depression is normal with my disease it can be fought with regular, intense exercise. Beachbody gives me the tools to keep my body healthy without having to think about it too much. :) I don't have to go to a gym. I can work out in my living room, with my kids. My kids have used my BB workouts to further their own personal physical goals. I love the fact that I am giving my kids the best example for personal fitness. I hope to develop the same addiction in my children that I have developed over the past few years.

I also need to accept that there parts of it that will never be as small as the next woman. I want to love my body because it is strong and healthy not because it reaches a certain number.
