i'm 35 and i was tired of being fat and sloppy at the heaviest weight of my
life, 275 pounds. i started a low carb diet on june 17, 2008 and lost 55
pounds. it was great to be able to fit into clothes that i hadn't worn since
highschool, but i wanted to get in better shape, even great shape. i bought a
mountain bike and started riding 3-4 times a week 5-8 miles per ride

I've been dedicated to p90x for the last 30 days. i'm really starting to feel better. i'm not as sluggish or tired as i was prior to starting my diet and excersize program. i haven't lost a large anmount of weight on p90x (5 pounds so far - but i did lose 55 pounds in 5 months just prior to starting p90x). i think this can be attributed to me gaining muscle as i have been getting harder and bigger in places that haven't been worked in years. i'm still looking forward to every workout and have noticed a big difference in overall tone of my muscles and core as well as my athleticism.

update: i'm 60 days into p90x now and i am coming into the home stretch for this round! i just went snowboarding and didn't tire out for the entire day whereas normally i would have to constantly take breaks to recover from each run! i feel like i'm back in college! next stop, highschool wheight!

update:

started second round of P90X on March 30, 2009... doing doubles this time and trying to get my 6 pack for summer! i'm feeling great!
