My name is Michelle Ragazzo. I'm a 46 year old divorced mom of 2 teenagers, Anthony 19 & Stephanie Rose 15. I started my journey with Beachbody in April 2006. I was 140 pounds over weight, depressed and fed up with life in general. Over the next 2 years I lost 70 lbs with Beachbody products! Not only did I start to look and feel better but met so many online friends from the Team

Like I said in my bio, I had always been skinny and active my whole life up until I got pregnant with my son in 1989. I gained 80 lbs! I lost some of it but not all of it. When I got pregnant with More ...
Like I said in my bio, I had always been skinny and active my whole life up until I got pregnant with my son in 1989. I gained 80 lbs! I lost some of it but not all of it. When I got pregnant with my daughter in 1993 I had just lost 30lbs and only put that back on.

When Stephie was one I decided to start walking. Walking turned into running and I was in the best shape I'd been in years! I ran several 5k's and 2 10k's and was training for a 1/2 marathon when life got in the way.

A divorce and a move from Savannah, GA to Staten Island, NY only me a depressed over weight lady with no hope or goals. I was not a pleasant person at that time. I basically would get the kids up and dressed for school put them on the bus come home and sleep until it was time for them to come home.

Luckily for all three of us I did get a job. In December of 2005 my job moved from by the mall to the beach area. My boss and I went and scoped out the broadwalk and I decided that day if it wasn't too cold, rainy or snowy I would walk everyday and I did! I have to say I was eating better and lost 20lbs!

In April of 2006 I saw Turbo Jam on TV and decided to buy it. I did it for a few months and did pretty good with the program and lost another 10 pounds. I love Chalene adn her energy but I felt moving on to another workout. So I decided to try Slim in 6 and did very well with it and lost another 20 lbs on one round!

Then I started reading the boards but I was too shy to post. I don't know why I finally did but I found Bryans (moviefan's) thread and posted there. He quickly responded as well as MelanieB. (aka psyknife) and the rest was history! I'm a posting queen, and I have two of my own threads! I've met so many fantastic and inspiring people online who I now call friends!

Both Mel & Bryan encouraged me to try Power 90, I didn't think I was ready! Boy, was I glad I was wrong! Even if I didn't lose the 10 pounds I did Tony's energy and wit was just what I needed at the time!

When I was done with P90, Hip Hop Abs was just being released. Stephanie begged me to buy it so we could do it together. Well after she saw me do it she was completely embarressed! I fell in love with Shaun and was hooked on the program! I did it for two months, with some Yoga Booty Ballet throw in the end of the rotation just to mix it up, and lost another 5 pounds and yes, this stiff old girl got some flava!

Then I decided I neeed to challenge myself and ordered P90 Master Series. It's my favorite workout so far! I love Plyo legs it's my all time favorite workout! UML is a challenge for me but that's what I love about it! Tony really inspires me and makes me laugh at the same time! That's the best part after all why workout if it's not fun! He also makes me challenge myself and I really want to bring it to each and every workout.

I was even lucky enough to attend Tony's New York Fit Camp this year. I didn't think I could "hang with the big guns" but Tony taught me that's not his camps are about. He want's you to do the best of your ability! I have to say I never quite knew what I was capable of before this weekend! I walked away with a new found respect for myself and 41 new friendships that will last a lifetime!

I had one week left on Master Series, but did not finish because I underwent a partial hysterectomy. I was off workouts for a week and a half then started swimming and walking. On Monday August 20 was my first day of P90X! I know I can do it because Tony is all about modification and I plan to work at my pace. Plus, I know I'will have help from my coach MelanieB, Traci Morrow and with all the friends I've met in WOWY, the boards and hopefully you will be there to "Do it with me"!

UPDATE 9-20-07 Day 30 P90X I'm down 5lbs and 5 1/2 inches in just 30 days! I love this workout and I'm really bringing it! Next update at day 60

UPDATE 3-18-08 Just back from the coaches summit I"m ready to bring it for my final three weeks of my second round of P90X!

Update 4-21-08 Started my countdown to 45! Doing Ten Minute Trainer and running, wowying everyday and eating better. From now until June 14th my 45th birthday.
