I started aerobics when I was a teenager, when I didn't understand any concepts of what a healthy body was. Magazines and celebrities were what teenage girls were comparing themselves to, aside from each other! I did not eat well, choosing to skip meals to maintain what I felt was a healthy weight. But when I got to college, that all went down the tubes. I gained weight through college and grad school, and once I got to my post-doc years, I had put on almost 40 lbs! I felt sluggish and tired all the time, despite exercising at least 4-5 times a week.

I fell in love with TurboKick when I lived in LA for my post-doc, and bought the Turbo Jam series when I had to move to an area without my beloved workout! I still had trouble shedding weight, and given bad hours on the job, I could not follow the diet plan easily. I finally faced that the portion control outlined by the meal plans would help, but could not follow a restrictive eating plan.

Last year, I started following a plan that changed my life. I learned portion control, and to log my daily intake of food. Holy cow! I didn't know I was eating so much! I refocused on my goals of getting to a healthy weight, and with Turbo Jam, and most recently ChaLean Extreme, I have hit my goal weight. I can't believe how well the products worked!

Now as a mom, I know that time is a big factor in staying healthy, and I've found the products that helped me lose the baby weight and even get back into my prepregnancy clothes! I can't wait to share these products with you, and help you find out what works for you as an individual.
