I'm 42, married, father of four. I've been pretty athletic most of my life. I love to bike, backpack, hike, and camp. I spend a lot of time with my kids doing some of these actitivities with them.

I'm a Chief Financial Officer for a health care firm in Colorado. Been doing that for nearly 20 years.

I've been a bit of a slacker lately, meaning I'm found about every excuse I can to not work out, including working too much and trying to carve out family time. I started the P90X workout in the More ...
I've been a bit of a slacker lately, meaning I'm found about every excuse I can to not work out, including working too much and trying to carve out family time. I started the P90X workout in the middle of December 2007 and continued for the about six weeks with no letting up. I felt great and was very optimistic about how good I was going to feel and look in anther 7 to 8 weeks. I ended up with the flu, then when I got back into working out and I injured by foot pretty badly. Now, it's 5 weeks later and I getting back to it again. I'm having trouble getting motivated because I've lost some of the gains. At this point, I feel I'm right back where I was when I got started.

I want to lose about 20 pounds and get in better cardio shape.
