I was always on the heavier side growing up as a child & teenager. I always was the last one to be picked when playing games in gym class, I hated to run & being a girl & on Hi, welcome to my Coach page! I was always on the heavier side growing up as a child & teenager. I always was the last one to be picked when playing games in gym class, I hated to run & being a girl & on the chubby side is not easy. After college & moving to the west coast, I did exercise & lose some weight, but it wasn't until I decided to become pregnant that I made a decision to get in the best shape of my life. I didn't want to be one of those moms struggling to lose baby weight - plus, I wanted to set a good example for my daughter, so that she won't have to fight the battle that I did. So, I made the commitment to really change my life & make health & fitness my lifestyle. By being disciplined in my eating habits, adding resistance training on a regular basis in addition to my cardio workouts, I was able to lose 2 dress sizes before I got pregnant. I was fortunate to be able to continue an exercise program throughout my pregnancy, & combining regular exercise with healthy eating habits, I was able to really control my weight gain & am even another size smaller since giving birth! Within 2 years, I went from a size 10 to a size 4! I did all of this without doing any strict or "fad" diet, but through healthy eating, portion control & regular exercise. Best of all, I still eat the things I love, but have learned how to make them healthier, while still be just as tasty & satisfying. I'm also happy to say that I am setting a healthy example for my family in that they will be healthier too!
I truly enjoy helping other people to realize a healthier, fit lifestyle through a program that works best for your individual needs. Because I was able to see results, I know you can too & I am excited to help you be able to reach your health & fitness goals - it's really a lot easier than you think!!!

The year before I was pregnant, I started working with a trainer & learned that resistance training & eating 5-6 smaller meals a day was better than 3 big meals. I was always very good about cardio, doing Turbo Jam, but not consistent with weight training. I learned through proper diet & a mix between cardio, resistance/strength training & rest that I would be able to achieve the results that I was after.
Now, 3 years later, I am 3 dress sizes smaller (yes, even after having a baby) & enjoy Turbo Jam, P90X & ChaLEAN Extreme & look forward to trying many other great programs & activities to maintain all that I have accomplished. By eating right without "gimmicks" & incorporating fitness into my lifestyle, I am set for long term success. The tools that Beachbody has to offer make it even easier to reach your goals & maintain them - especially with a little one, it's not always easy to get to the gym. Now I can do it right in the comfort of my own home with great trainers, but I'm also setting an example for my daughter so that she can see that exercise is fun & part of a healthy lifestyle! Already she knows when it's time to exercise & even does her own version of jumping jacks & streches!
