I am a wife to my wonderful husband Mike, and a mom of two beautiful girls, Alex 15, and Emily 12. My husband and I run a real estate due diligence firm, Norwood Consulting Firm as well as being a Team Beachbody Coach. I always make it a point to schedule "my" time each day with fitness. I love leading people toward the goal of fit, healthy lives!

I was blessed to be thin as I grew up. I never thought about weight, scales, or looking at my body in the mirror until I was in my junior year of college. I became less active as my study time More ...
I was blessed to be thin as I grew up. I never thought about weight, scales, or looking at my body in the mirror until I was in my junior year of college. I became less active as my study time increased, and to cope with the stress of upper level college courses, I began to eat. I would yo-yo diet with the same 10-15 pounds year after year. Being 6' tall, the pounds didn't show quite as much on me as they would have on some of my shorter friends. I married and over time had two children. I was able to lose my pregnancy weight and get back to my basic routine of working out diligently, so the weight seemed to stay under control. I reached a point, two years after having my younger daughter, when I had no desire to continue working out. I let that portion of my life slide and the pounds began to subtly (or so I thought) add up. In February of 2002 I was going through our mail and opened up an envelope that contained pictures from a Christmas Brunch our family had attended in December. Not anticipating to open the envelope to a picture of myself, I feel as if I saw myself objectively for the first time in quite a few years. I was shocked at the woman I saw. I was sure at that moment that that was not the woman, wife or mother that I wanted to be. A lightbulb went off in my head and I decided then and there to change. I began eating five small, healthy, well balanced meals per day as well as using exercise tapes at home to work out. Little by little my body began to change. I lost 40 pounds and knew that I did not want to have a lapse in my healthy lifestyle again! I was introduced to Turbo Kick and fell in love :) It was a party and workout rolled into one. I became certified in Turbo Kick in October 2006. I love to share my passion for a fit, healthy, lifestyle with others. It is healthy for our bodies, minds, and relationships.
