I became committed to my exercise program around the middle of March, 2008. With my equilibrium problem, I had been afraid to truly commit to any program that I was not sure I could do. I tried Hip More ...
I became committed to my exercise program around the middle of March, 2008. With my equilibrium problem, I had been afraid to truly commit to any program that I was not sure I could do. I tried Hip Hop Abs (yes, I was an aerobic junkie in the 80's) but my lack of balance discouraged me. I then moved to Yoga Booty Ballet. At first I was only able to get thru the warm-up and first set. This worked on my balancing (and I really appreciated the fact that they kept assuring me that if I couldn't do it at first, I could hold onto a chair until I could master it - this gave me the confidence to keep trying). I was so excited when, after 6 weeks, I no longer needed the chair and was able to continue on with the routines. When I saw my doctor in May, she was amazed with my transformation and asked if I still needed to take my medication for the dizziness. I was happy to tell her I hadn't taken any since starting this program and how I had progressed with the balancing. She stated that my overall health and spirit had definitely improved so I should continue doing what I was doing!! I have since added walking and Tony's 10-Minute Workout to my routine to mix it up a little and am amazed at the energy I have now (and yes, I will return to Hip Hop Abs!!). And beyond feeling fantastic and wearing sizes I haven’t seen since high school, the one benefit I didn't realize I would achieve is the increased confidence! It is truly a blessing what Beachbody has done for my physical & mental being. The exercise programs are fantastic with the encouragement and understanding they offer, the supplements & meal plans keep your body healthy & the support of the Beachbody community truly make this a TOTAL SOLUTION to a better life! All I can say is "Thank you, Beachbody" and of course "Thank you" to my daughter for introducing this to me!!
