I've worked in the college and university system as an instructor, program coordinator, and director. I love working with others and helping them achieve their goals. I live in beautiful Vancouver, BC and try to take advantage of all the natural beauty around, and so have been into outdoor recreational sports. But it's easy to let your fitness drop and a couple of pounds come on each year when career is a focus, so I'm looking to get even more balance into what I do.

I've always maintained a good fitness level, from high school and college athlete to staying recreationally fit. I've been a member of a gym for several years, but always find it hard to get motivated to go there, and when I do, don't notice any real change. The programs offered at gyms are one dimensional, and I've never seen any women really transform there. I also travel for work, so good eating habits are not as easy to maintain with all the confernce buffets etc. I'm into seasonal sports, so tend to be on and off peak depending on time of year. I'm on the p90x program now, and I like the variety, the intensity, and that I can do it in my livingroom. I'm looking forward not only to looking better, but to being able to perform better on my weekend trips and activities. Better shape = more fun in my books.
