Over twenty years ago, as a woman with a weight problem, I decided to join a gym. As I worked toward my goal to become fit and more confident with my own weight, I immediately saw a need in the fitness industry for people who really cared about helping others reach My name is Veronica E. Hughes, I am a certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor and here’s how it all began:
Over twenty years ago, as a woman with a weight problem, I decided to join a gym. As I worked toward my goal to become fit and more confident with my own weight, I immediately saw a need in the fitness industry for people who really cared about helping others reach their goals also. At that time, I began pursuing my credentials in the fitness industry.
Today, after all these years, I am confident to say that I have made a difference in the fitness industry. I now hold certifications in: Aerobics & Kickboxing Group Instructor, Personal Fitness Trainer, Weight Training Consultant, Sports Nutrition Consultant, Powerhouse Pilates, Aqua Instructor (Phase II), Cycling and Tai Chi stretch.
I am also Certified in CPR (American Heart Association) and First Aid (American Red Cross).
With these certifications, I’ve been able to help hundreds of women and men in various gyms over the past 20 years.
I pride myself in dedication to my own fitness to stay on top of this ever-changing field of fitness. Through this dedication, I am able to help others with the most current means available in the fitness industry.
Through all my years of fitness instruction and personal training, I maintain all my certifications on a yearly basis through the American Aerobic Association International/International Sports Medicine Association (AAAI/ISMA).
I am constantly updating my techniques and knowledge of the fitness industry, as well as adding new certifications, as needed, to best serve my clients in the best manner possible.
As your personal fitness trainer, my objective is to set attainable goals for you, as well as to help you achieve these goals through my knowledge and experience.
