My name is Josh. I'm from Burlington, North Dakota (near Minot, ND). I used to be in relatively good shape, having done Search and Rescue in the Navy, and since leading a fairly active lifestyle.
Over the last few years though, I began getting more and more into computers, and less and less into fitness. My weight began to slowly creep up, going from 160 lbs. to over 200 lbs (as of late last year 2009). I had the P90 program, and had even purchased the P90X and Insanity programs back in November I think. But unfortunately, due to getting very busy (and whatever other excuse I could find), they basically sat on my shelf for almost a month.
I started working with a combination of the P90 and P90X program in December, and while I haven't kept the strictest diet, I'm seeing good results, and with a more solid workout program and better diet, I expect to reach my goal of 150-160 lbs by May or June.
Props to Cnatz (my Navy buddy Chris D.) for motivating me via his results picture, and always fielding questions I have about my workouts or a diet issue. Props brother!!
Anyway, hope to hear from you guys and see your continuing results. Beach Body is about the best thing to happen to my fitness since the military. Look forward to being one the few who choose to quite crying in the mirror and start sweating!
