I am an artist, mom of three. The twins created a great addition to our lives but also left a nice belly and butt, unfortunately the boobs did not stay to balance out the butt.

I am a wife, mom, artist and art instructor. I have three beautiful kids and married fifteen years Feb. 20th 2008. We are renewing our vows next Friday the 22nd as our children have always been curious about our wedding. Well, it won’t be a wedding, but it will be magical with our son as the officiant and our boy/girl twins as the maid of honor and best man. We plan to go out to a really nice restaurant afterward. When I married my husband I fluctuated between 117 and 122-ish depending on the time of the month. When I had my first baby at age 27 I gained only 17 lb. and lost it pretty quick after nursing for 16 months. I had my twins at age 30 and had gained about 50 lbs. The two placentas totaled about 14 of those pounds! I nursed them for about 12 months. I was so literally drained that I lived on the sofa for a year nursing and taking care of my then 2 and a half year old son. Multitasking had become my MO. I describe this (from experience) as sitting on the potty Pee’ing while nursing my twins on a U shaped dinosaur fabric colored foam pillow that you strap around your waste, while talking on the hand held phone and holding my number one finger up toward my 2 and a half year old ...signaling to him,“wait”. This sleep deprived dreamy crazed state lasted for a year. My adrenals definitely were stressed while looking harried was common. A nanny would have been so delightful! Those 35 lb. had me near 160 at 5’1” tall. This is not a pretty sight. I just thought that those 35 lb would melt away along with nursing, as the first pregnancy gifted me. NOT this time....no, it has been nine years since having the twins and I have consistently weighted between 140 to 145. I have altered my diet for health reason. I have been diagnosed with Meniere’s disease; it causes a plugged ear sensation along with ringing along with the worst side of vertigo that cannot be described. I have naturally maintained this working with my naturopath. My blood test came back showing that I am allergic to coffee, eggs, blueberries, sesame and diary, so these items I have successfully omitted for a year. But, I have not really lost very much weight because of it, maybe five pounds, nothing really to notice. I really want to shape my figure back to where it was when I got married. Funny how back then, I thought I was over weight.
In high school I maintained 110-118. I used take tap & jazz dance three times a week (for 8 years) and was very committed up to age 17. Then I moved out of the house and never went back to it. Many times I look back thinking, why didn’t I keep it up. Well, here I am now to give my body a chance to show me a noticeable difference in energy, health and shape. It’s my first week of workouts, so....here it goes!

An update: We renewed our vows. It was a magical evening with out kids as they participated anxiously becoming a part of the process. This sparked our relationship as for me visions of the past came to the forefront of the night. We had a great dinner afterward to celebrate our family, life and love.

I have worked out everyday so far coming up on week four! I start "Ramp it Up" tomorrow with fear of what it could hold. I love "Slim in 6" and am hoping that "Ramp it UP" will follow. Looking forward to mixing it up holding high expectations and commitment to myself and others. Here I go again!

It seems that people are noticing a difference in my body which only increases my motivation; this complements accountability really nicely! YES! I do have more energy and am loving the results! I did get a really bad bout of Bronchitis that slowed my program way down which was very frustrating. I still have a cough that won't quit, but I keep pushing play and am feeling better as time goes by.
