I'm 50 years old and happily married for over 20 years. I've been active in sports most of my life - baseball, basketball, skiing, biking, active travelling. Since graduating college, I've been mostly working behind a desk and my seasons of fitness have been off and on. A few years back I ran with a local club, running 5k, 10, 1/2 marathons and I completed the Los Angeles Marathon in under 4 I'm 50 years old and happily married for over 20 years. I've been active in sports most of my life - baseball, basketball, skiing, biking, active travelling. Since graduating college, I've been mostly working behind a desk and my seasons of fitness have been off and on. A few years back I ran with a local club, running 5k, 10, 1/2 marathons and I completed the Los Angeles Marathon in under 4 hours. I was in great shape, but the running began to beat up my body and I started having back problems. I stopped running & I quickly gained weight which didn't help with my back. I went to the doctor, took medication, went to physical therapy, but none of it helped. I also found out I had high cholesterol, plus my doctor gave me additional bad news, that I was pre-diabetic. I needed to take ownership of these problems and do something about them. In June 2009, I started P90X

I completed my first 90 days (which took me a bit longer than 90 days). I went from 195 lbs to 178lbs (17lbs). Also I toned up and gained body mass and now I'm feeling so much stronger. I have more More ...
I completed my first 90 days (which took me a bit longer than 90 days). I went from 195 lbs to 178lbs (17lbs). Also I toned up and gained body mass and now I'm feeling so much stronger. I have more energy and am enjoying life much more. My doctor is very pleased with my progress and my lab reports are drastically improving. Also with the strengthening of my core & stretching, my back problems have disappeared...on to my second 90 days.
