gainesville, GA My story is quite simple. My father has always been super active and that was how I was introduced to fitness at a young age. I never played sports because I have no hand-eye coordination (LOL), but I was a member of a gym by the time I was in the 8th grade. I was very thin (but as a teenager, I always thought I was "fat"...aka, POOR body image) until I moved out on my own at the age My story is quite simple. My father has always been super active and that was how I was introduced to fitness at a young age. I never played sports because I have no hand-eye coordination (LOL), but I was a member of a gym by the time I was in the 8th grade. I was very thin (but as a teenager, I always thought I was "fat"...aka, POOR body image) until I moved out on my own at the age of 19. I was a full time college student, worked a full time job and ate like a pig. I didn't watch anything I ate. I was hitting up the Mexican restaurant 2-3 times a week! After about a year, I was over 200 pounds...at 5 foot 6! Once I hit that 200 pound mark and was still gaining, I realized I had to do something. I started Weight Watchers and dropped the weight again. However, on Weight Watchers, they really teach you portion control but you eat whatever you want. So I was still eating poorly, just is lower quantities. I lost down to about 180 pounds and stayed there for years...though that was still overweight for my height. Upon preparing for my wedding in 2011, I dropped down the my lowest in years of 175, but after the wedding gained almost all of the weight back. Back to almost 200 pounds! Yo-Yo weight loss is horrible for your body and makes it so much harder to lose weight again (in my opinion). I'm now 26, and decided in December 2012 that I was going to change. For good. Many people likely don't believe me, because they have seen me yo-yo before. Not this time. I signed up as a Team Beachbody COACH. I have others that depend on me to help them, and I cannot help them until I help myself. So as I am on this journey, so are those I am helping. I HAVE the knowledge, I am certified to be a personal trainer (though NOT necessary to be a COACH), and I'm ready! Since joining as a COACH in January 2013, I have dropped 11 pounds and over 20 inches from my body. By helping others stay accountable, it is helping me stay accountable as well. I would LOVE for you to join me on this journey. It is so very rewarding and I am loving it.
