In the 4th grade, the school nurse weighed my entire class. I remember
coming in at 88 lbs and feeling horrible as some of my classmates overheard.
Associating shame with my size began almost thirty years ago and I’m just
now realizing that I have the power to put an end to it. People are overweight
for many reasons. My excess 60 lbs comes from my unhealthy relationship

My journey with Beach Body began in 2006 when a friend gave me her Power
90 videos and exercise bands. I had seen the informercial with Tony Horton
and Power 90’s numerous success stories for years, but I wasn’t sure about
taking the challenge. When my friend’s gift arrived in the mail, I had no
choice but to push my uncertainties aside and go for it.

I started the workouts and quickly noticed how my body changed.
Unfortunately, an hour commute to and from work five days a week took a
toll on me and I stopped the program. Six months later, I decided to give
Turbo Jam a try. I enjoyed Chalene’s enthusiasm. Her vibrant approach to
exercise was the motivation I needed.

I followed her rotation schedule and the Turbo Slim down and dropped 10
pounds! Just as I began to notice significant changes, I had to stop to have
surgery. My eating and exercise habits changed during recovery and the
weight returned. About five months have passed, I’m back on track with
Chalean Extreme. A week into the program and I’m already noticing changes!
The biggest change is my fierce determination to see this program through to
the end.

No more setbacks. This time, I’m taking it all the way! 78 days (and counting)
to a new me!
