Ok here we go. A life change! I bought P90 in 2006 did it off and on but never made it to phase 2. I stopped because I did not put my health 1st. It was always all about work. I started getting heart More ...
Ok here we go. A life change! I bought P90 in 2006 did it off and on but never made it to phase 2. I stopped because I did not put my health 1st. It was always all about work. I started getting heart pains and every other kind of pain you could think of. I went to the ER twice for heart pains. I thought I was havng a heart attack. The doc gave me a stress test (the one on the tread mill) to check my heart and all was fine, just anxiety/panic. My blood counts were good. Later I had my blood checked again and my blood pressure cholesterol and other blood counts were declining from the last time I had my blood drawn. Tipping the scale at almost 190 lbs ( 5'7") I purchased P90X started the program and found out after 2 weeks that I had no energy to keep going. I thought I could keep my bad eating, and other bad lifestye habits and be fine. Wrong I crashed. You’d think the check up from the doc would make you think twice. I had to crash from trying P90X till it finally hit me. When I started phase 2 I Started a Beach Body diet plan built around P90X. I’ve found the diet is probably 75% of the whole plan maybe more. The supplements really help too. I'm on day 62 as of 6-26-09 and feel great. I've lost 15 lbs. Now that I eat real food that gives you life I can do all the workouts to the extreme. My anxiety and depression is gone. I can't wait till day 90, and day 10090. I'm addicted to Beach Body. I hope that I don't crash from that! HA! HA! So now it’s P90X for the long haul! And strive for much more in the future! I'll keep you posted.
Ok Now That I've Finished 7-27-09 you can see the results after 90 days. I weigh 160 lbs (Started at 188) and have lean strong muscle. That's 28lbs.!! I'm lifting more weight on every exercise than when I started. I'm lifting at least the weight I lost and more(30lbs) I started out doing 1 pullup, barely. Now I can do 20. I am amased can't believe it, and I'm still seeing results now that I'm on round 2 of P90X. Now I'm a coach too. On day 10 Of the Asylum. Vertical plyo is a beast. Also in the 2nd recovery week of round 10 of p90x. Feeling great changes. No alcohol for 10 days now too. feels good Hope I dont over train. More ...
