Hello! I am a 36 year old (almost) wife and doggy mommy living in San Francisco. I love my city and I love my life.
I've tried a variety of Beachbody programs over the years including Yoga Booty Ballet (original and the Live series), Power 90, Turbo Jam, Chalean Extreme, and am currently doing Turbo Fire. I love working out at home with DVDs. It's less expensive than a gym and gives me flexibility and variety. I've never fully completed a program although I've come really close (within a week or two) several times.
When I'm not rocking out with Chalene and Turbo Fire, I enjoy walking with my dog, traveling, spending time with my hubby to be, reading, and going to concerts.

Week 1, 09/28/09: I've always been a "solid" girl. As I like to say, "I've had this a** my whole life." I accept that I will always be more "pear" than "celery". However, I can be a leaner, more toned pear. Now is the time. This is the beginning.
01/24/12: In Chinese Astrology, I am a Fire Dragon. This is my year. I've made some progress, slow and steady, but am starting to say to myself "If I don't take the time to get into the best shape of my life now, when will I?" Oh, and did I mention I'm getting married in May?
02/11/12: Two weeks into Turbo Fire and I'm feeling good. The scale hasn't budged yet, but I'm pretty sure I'm "tighter" and a bit leaner. This is a good thing because I've got an unexpected trip to Hawaii coming up in March. Nothing like only having a month to get into better bikini shape.

04/24/12 Today is the first day I've worked out in 2 weeks. I've missed the community here. I've missed hearing about people's successes and feeling supported by my fellow Beachbody members.
