I used to be super lean through middle school and half of high school, playing soccer and basketball and, yes, marching band! During my sophmore year (you know driving and working) I ate out ALOT! That's when the weight hit me like a brick! I averaged 180-185 for the rest of high school and into adulthood. In 2008 I weighed a WHOPPING 197 lbs! My small frame didn't like it (I'm 5'3"). With work, It was easy to continue to eat bad, eat when you can and what you can is the mind-set. Plus I felt that I needed to eat as much as the guys to show I can hold my own (CRAZY, I KNOW!) I am still in my journey, but down to 165, thanks to Turbo Jam, ChaLEAN Extreme and Beachbody!!

Time to get strong and be fit! With work at the Fire Dept, your eating habits tend to be very bad, you eat out and eat fast! You gotta get your meals in when you can, which usually doesn't leave much time for healthy cooking! Diet is ALWAYS the hardest part! I gained alot of weight with this terrible eating and kinda let go!
I stepped on the scale in Jan '08 and weighed in at a whopping 197!! I am only 5'3"!! I knew that was unacceptable! I started Weight Watchers in April and seriously doing TJ 6 days a week! Here it is Sept '08 and I'm down to a steady 167!! WOW! I always thought that I'd be happy at this weight, but no, I know that I can loose LOTS more. I am a work in progress, but I LOVE the progress I'm making!!
Teaching Turbo Kick and Hip Hop Hustle is helping me to make better food choices and helping me to get my workouts in! I LOVE TEACHING FITNESS!!
