I'm 59,married, and have been on diets most of my adult life. from crash diets, to counting calories, liquid diets, low carbs, high protien, even weight watchers! weight watchers worked. I lost about 45 pounds, in about 8 months. but it was really hard to maintain my goal weight, which was about 120 lbs. I kept dropping to about 112-116. I started looking like a living dead person! I did'nt like the person looking back at me in the mirrow. So I just kind of gave up.My moving to Texas from California, did'nt help eigher. In california I had a support group both at work, & at weight watchers.I went to a couple of meetings here in the valley,But I did'nt fit in, the group was a much older group, & they never really included me. I've worked in the medical field since I was 34, (now I'm 59)I'm a c.n.a. In my present emploment I work 12 hours a day. It's a little hard todo at this age.My bones hurt all the time, my lower back, & my feet.I just want to quit hurting so much! I have a few more years to work until I can retire so I just want to make it better!I have 4 grown sons, & 8 grandchildren!I believe that I've found a good coach that will support me & motivate me! She did it,& looks great! I'm on my way to looking better, & feeling lots better too! I just know that!I just have to stay in a positive state of mind.I know that I just have to want it bad enough. one day at a time!
