I began back in November of 2008. My husband had bought the P90X program a couple of weeks back and the DVD's were just sitting there not being used until I went to a Dr's appointment and I was weighed. I was at 190lbs. I'm 5'7" and that is the heaviest I have ever been. I felt terrible, didn't like the way I looked and decided I needed to change. I began doing the lean version of P90X and weight watchers diet. I mainly concentrated on the cardio, core, plyo, and kenpo workouts. I did some weight every once in a while. I lost aproz. 30lbs and was down to 157lbs. I began the regular version of P90X on 4/30/09 and I'm doing good. I'm not doing WW strictly any more. I'm watching what I eat. I'm eating lots of vegetables, fruits, salads, fish, chicken. I'm still having my chocolate chips though. My muscles ache but I now it means that the workouts are working. Hopefully I will get my "beachbody" by the end of July.

Update: Hey everyone. I finished my 1st round of P90X on 8/3/09 and I'm feeling great. It was a week and a half past my regular finish date but I did it. You can look at my stats and see the progress I made. I've lost 10lbs, 2" of my waist and I'm in the best shape of my life. I can do push ups like crazy. I'm doing pull ups but on the chair. I love Plyo and I came to like weight training. I need to get new weights because the ones I have won't do the job for the second round. Loosing those 10lbs was a challenge, at one point I was doing doubles and I think that did the trick. Everyone I meet says I look great and I feel very good when I'm told that. I have been buying new clothes as well since almost everything in my closet is too big. I'm down to a size 6 from a 14. I'm currently on my rest period but will begin the secon round of P90X soon. My goals are to tone up more, get the six pack and maybe loose a bit more weight, but I'm comfortable at the weight I am now. My original target weight was 145lb, I'm almost there. If I loose 5 more lbs I it's ok. Will be back soon to start my 2nd round, till then. Bring It!
