I was a three sport athlete in High School and was always in good shape. I was diagnosed with a panic and anxiety disorder when i was 18 and began self medicating by drinking and eating whatever I wanted. It took me about two years to finally start feeling better mentally and emotionally after Attacking Anxiety and Depression with the Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety.

I guess you could say that my transformation story started when I realized I had hit rock bottom. I went on spring break with some buddies and unfortunately one of them had a camera and caught me strutting my stuff on the beach. I took one look at it and was disgusted with myself. I was a three sport athlete in high school and was always really ripped, how could I have let this happen. I decided to do something about it.

That summer I spent it in the gym doing cardio 7 days a week sometimes twice a day. I lost 20lbs and started feeling good again. I continued up with the cardio for about a year but never really got better. I started getting frustrated so I hit the weights hard.

I Began to tone up a little but still again it took me almost another year of not getting the results I wanted so I quit the lifting and started running again because I figured if I couldnt get as ripped as I wanted at least I could stay thin.

After I graduated college I began training for the Chicago marathon. It was one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. But when it was done another year of alot of hard work and no results. I wanted something more, something to believe in.

I had seen the P90X infomercials for years and decided to give it a try. I was able to get started in April of 2009 and after the program the results speak for themselves. I didn't do anything crazy I just followed the program. As Tony says, I just kept pushing play and stuck with the high protein diet that it outlines. I saw better results in three months than three years of playing the guessing game.

I started with the Classic routine then graduated to P90X plus. I just completed another classic round and have developed my own program (approved by Mark Briggs) which include One on One Vol. 1 workouts which I'll be starting in May 2010. Lets see how this one goes.
