My name is Ron. I currently live in the wonderful D.C. suburbs in Northern Virginia with some housemates and two cats.

I work in the Civil Engineering Industry designing subdivisions and roads and managing our design software. When not slaving away at work, I go to school part-time, write, play with my son, design websites and even fit in a little time with a few of my friends.

Somehow, I'm squeezing extra time in for workouts and I just became a beach body coach. I've decided my health is important to me and the best way to improve my fitness level (and to keep it that way) is to help others do the same.

So, I'm new to coaching and fairly new to the site (I've had an account for a year but haven't used it much). Feel free to drop me a line about your own experiences here or in life in general. I love a good tale.

I came to P90X thanks to my coach, who happens to be a friend in the really real world, too. He knew I and my housemates were struggling with keeping the weight off.

We did P90X Lean that summer and made it 90% of the way through it before real life and a dozen other excuses intervened.

It's been a year and I'm struggling to get back into the routine. Only 27 (nearly 28), a recent physical revealed the beginnings of high cholesterol.

So, here I am, to drop the weight, lower the cholesterol and lead a better life.
