Hello! My name is Rossy. I am a short, dorky, latina, mom OF 2, wife, sister, daughter, Christian, woman, fitness instructor and business owner. I have worked hard and been blessed with the opportunity to be a stay at home working my Beachbody business from home while caring for my daughter Isabella (born 3/8/08) and my son Ezekiel (born 8/27/11). Health & fitness is a priority in my life; it helps me be the best wife, mom & person i can be, but this has not always been my life, I haven't always taken care of myself or put my health first. That's what brought me to my journey I now call my life...

I had always thought I ate "healthy" and I did workout pretty hard. I blamed my body and had always thought that there just must be something wrong with me, or maybe I was just not capable of losing weight. I thought I knew a lot about fitness and nutrition, but I was about to be schooled. The birth of my daughter really put everything into perspective. I could go on living the way I had- struggling with weight, "trying" to be better, but something had to CHANGE! I knew then that ignoring myself and my health will effect my family and that was not something I wanted to do. I did not want my daughter to struggle with her weight and self image her whole life. Those scars run deep and I don't think they ever heal entirely. So I got off my butt and kicked it into high gear. I was already a member of Total Woman gym and attended quite regularly. I made a schedule and did it. A contest at the gym really helped with motivation and an online community of woman called Fit Yummy Mummy (www.clubfym.com) really educated me. It was not until the last three weeks of that contest did the pounds start melting away. And during that time my coach, Traci approached me and showed she cared. She saw me working hard, she saw the little change, but knew that I had far more potential. I met Traci in her Turbo Kick class, but it was that personal attention that she gave me, going above and beyond because she too understood where I was coming from and had lost weight herself. It is because of Traci that I saw the crossroads I was at and chose to fight for what I wanted- not for me but for those who I loved. Now I love exercising and eating supportively; I am enjoying my journey to fitness. Turbo was a huge part of how I got to where I am and I am so excited to see how much further I will go. I am now certified to be a group exercise instructor and teach a Turbo Kick, PIYO & Boot Camp classes. I am so excited and pumped to grow my fitness career. I also have started a blog (www.fatmomtofitmom.com) where I hope to encourage and support others on their own journey and provide them with the personal attention that made all the difference for me when I started my journey. We can do it! Join me and change not only your life, but your kid's too! Update: as of December 2010 I had accomplish 75lbs lost including 14.5" off my waist alone. Now I'm expecting baby #2 due in august 2011 and am challenged with putting on healthy baby lbs & keeping fit during my pregnancy. It's a strange feeling to be excited about a growing belly I worked so hard to shrink, BUT am anxious to see how this pregnancy, delivery & recovery will be in comparison to my last. I feel like I have hit redraft with my body- so cool to know what's possible & look forward to what I WILL accomplish after this baby! I have a plan to get back into shape after baby & it's all thanks to Beachbody! Keep an eye on my blog for when my fatmomtofitmom new mommy challeng starts, coming august 2011!! :) UPDATE!: Ezekiel Kenneth Ruppe was born on 8/27/11 and is a precious little man who brings so much joy to our world. I am now a mom of two, I have 25lbs to go to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and I am determined to get there & take you with me if you are willing to come! :)
