Oct 2011: I had shoulder surgery December 2010 to repair a torn rotator cuff. Other shoulder is torn too, I'll get it repaired when the other side completely recovers. It was a rough several months, not being able to get extreme. Thankfully I made changes before, or I would be much worse off. I did Brazil Butt Lift, as it's not tough on the shoulder.

Since then, I did another round of Insanity, and recently started Asylum. It is TOUGH! But, it feels good to be doing some strength routines again. I'll finish this round, move to RevAbs, then start P90X2 when it's released the end of the year.

My original story:
One morning, I saw a P90X infomercial, and the timing was right for me. I wanted change! I started P90X using resistance bands, pull-up bar, yoga mat, and a heart rate monitor. Finding a time that fit my schedule was tough, so I chose to wake up early and exercise before work.

For nutrition, I use a combination of the portion plan and meal plans, and stick to the nutrition plan 95% of the time. Nutrition drives your results, and I've now been eating clean for over two years. I don't miss the junk, and can find healthy alternatives that are just as satisfying. I've succeeded with nutrition, as I can now have a small snacks guilt-free, as I control what I eat.

To stay on track, I MUST have my workouts planned the day before. I'm not good at winging it.

This is the first time that I've been this motivated about fitness. I look forward to my workout everyday. I enjoy reaching my goals, feeling healthy, and knowing I will have a better life.

Since I started, I've completed P90X/P90X+, Turbo Jam, Insanity, Power90, ChaLEAN Extreme & Brazil Butt Lift.

I still clearly remember what it was like before, always tired, no energy, and not enjoying life. Now, I look forward to every new day, week, and year!
