With P90x I slammed past my goals! I was able to go from 215 LB to my new weight of 165 lb!! I'm 45 years old and have gone through a lot of the diet plans and weight loss gizmos over the years. All if which just gather dust or turn into cloths racks in the basement. I'm in better shape now then after army boot camp at 18 years old! Back then I still had a spare tire and no real upper body

I started my first round of P90x and quickly lost weight. Matter of fact, I stayed on the Phase I of the nutrition plan too long, as running a calorie deficit was all I knew and I was bonking out on the workouts by day 45. This taught me to really read what the guide was saying and I learned I had to consume more calories to fuel my work outs. This got me down to my new low of 172! But now I had added muscle to the equation, which was new for me. With 2 weeks left to graduating I tore my left shoulder rotator cuff moving crushed limestone for my summer patio project!! I thought I would need surgery, but I have a great Chiropractor (Thanks Dr. Patrick Baker!!) that was able to get my shoulder pain free in two months. I tried to continue core and cardio work outs, but not as well as I should have. I gained some fat back but then I learned about Shakeology. I used that for a good 2 weeks as a prep to my next round of P90x. That got me down to 170 and I'm now on week 6 of P90x reporting in at 165! I still need to attack some fat on the abs, but at this point I think I'm ready to start gaining upper body muscle which I never have had!
